What is ambient mode skullcandy?

Ambient mode is a feature introduced by Skullcandy in their wireless earbuds which allows the user to switch between noise-canceling and ambient(sound awareness) mode depending on their preference.

In ambient mode, the user can remain aware of their surroundings without having to remove the earbuds. The earbuds use external microphones to amplify external sounds so that the person can hear important traffic sounds or announcements while listening to their music.

The ambient mode in Skullcandy earbuds provides three levels of ambient sound awareness which can be adjusted according to the user's liking.

This feature is especially useful while working out outdoors or commuting to work as it allows the user to maintain situational awareness while staying entertained.
